Back to school bash outreach
Partnership for Children's Home
Saturday, August 25th (10:30 AM to 3:00 PM)
What we'll be doing:
- Providing school supplies to the children
- Feeding the children, mothers, staff, and volunteers (60-75 people)
- Passing out fresh fruits and vegetables to mothers (provided by local groceries)
- Game booths with prizes and air houses for the kids
What we need:
Financial donations
People to serve at the event (set up and clean up, serving food, handing out groceries and school supplies, running booths/games/air houses)
Donations of:
- School supplies for about 20 children (paper, pencils, crayons, etc.)
- Hot dogs
- Hot dog buns
- Condiments (mustard, ketchup, relish)
- Chips
- Soda bottles/cans
- Water bottles
- Games
- Candy/Game Prizes
Sign up online to serve or donate or drop by the Connect Center in our front lobby.
Attend our Informational Meeting right after service on Sunday, August 12th (Meeting Room 1) to learn more.
Please provide all donations by Thursday, August 23rd; Drop off in the front lobby Sundays or Monday-Thursday 9a-4p. Or donate funds anytime online or by text-to-give.
